Colour and light are the main inspirations for my work and to date I have used landscape and architecture as the vehicles for the portrayal of these elements. Most recently I have completed picture series in Italy, Southern Spain and the West Coast of America. These areas offer an unparalleled richness in subject and brilliance of light.

I am now living and working on Dartmoor where the unique contrast of moorland shadows, fast moving sunlight and stone buildings, coupled with exceptional overall clarity of light is a new challenge.
